The Aurora Duo is an attractive mix of young and vibrant talent with a mature, professional approach. The duo performs an extensive repertoire of light jazz, popular and classical music.
They have vast experience playing at hotels, weddings and functions and are honoured to have performed for Royalty and Members of Parliament.
Kate is currently the resident harpist at the five star hotel, Sofitel St James’ in Piccadilly and together as a duo they are often called upon to perform at venues such as The Ritz, the Mandarin Oriental, the Dorchester, Culzean Castle and the Balmoral Hotel in Scotland.

As recognised professional players, the Aurora Duo have been finalists of the “Gaetano Zinetti” International Chamber Music Competition 2005 as well as recommended artists for the Making Music “Young Concert Artist Award” 2004.
They have performed extensively and to great acclaim throughout the UK and Europe and are much in demand with various orchestras, having performed the Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto in London, Birmingham and Glasgow.

As individual orchestral players they have worked with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ulster Ochestra for radio broadcasts, CD recordings and live performances at the Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Centre ,St John’s, Smith Square and the Waterfront Hall, Belfast.
